My name is Jessica Bones. And I live in Greenland Ohio. Right now, I'm crying. I just had one of the most terrifying experiences of my entire life. Ok, where do I begin? Kersti, my sister, just brought a new Nintendo Switch, as well as the game Super Mario Odyssey to play on it. I loved loved loved Mario, so I just could not wait to play this new game in the franchise.
Later, we sat down to play the game together in co-operative mode, with me playing as Mario and my sister, Kersti, playing as Luigi. Little did I know, this would be the last game I ever played with her. Everything seemed normal at first, with myself and my sister playing and jumping our way through various levels of different wacky stages, including New York City and a Desert. Desert-land was my favorite stage, and we activated the land and began to play. Mario was jumping and leaping over chasms, but suddenly the screen began to glitch, and Mario slipped and fell down into a chasm, landing on a sharp rock.

Yellow blood suddenly poured down from the top of the screen and the words 'you died' appeared on the screen. Fear washed through me and I felt myself pee myself. And next to me, my sister grimaced and said how horrible this graphic scene was and how it didn't feel right for a kid's game. Mario just lade there on the rocks, weird yellow blood pouring out onto the floor of the canyon. I said I didn't want to play the game any longer, and we turned off the switch and went to bed.
Later, when I was lying in bed, a strange dream came through my head. Yellow blood was pouring out of my skin out onto my bed and onto my sheet. Wetness from the blood spread all over, and I jumped out, and ran to the bathroom. As I ran in and inspected my body to see where the yellow blood was seeping out of, I saw my body was covered in wounds just like the wounds Mario had been inflicted with when he peeled into the canyon in Desert Land in Super Mario Odyssey. Goombas suddenly burst into the bathroom behind me, smashing open the door, and growling, just like in the game.
Out of panic, I picked up my dad's razor and I slashed with it slashing open the goombas as they attacked, and they fell dead to the floor one after another, bursting bloody tides of crimson red onto the tiles and all over me.
Out of nowhere, I jerked awake in my bed, sweating and shuddering, but it had just been a dream, there wasn't any blood or any dead Goombas. But something was wrong when I got out of bed, the house was too quiet, and when I walked around the silent dark house, I realized what.
Everyone was gone .... The entire house was empty as I looked around, and I couldn't find a single trace of any of my family ...

Factual Note
This page was presented in evidence at the trial of Jessica Bones for the murder of her sister Kersti, and her two parents. Her lawyer pleaded insanity, after Jessica was found to have cut up her family with a razor while dressed in a Mario Costume, claiming she had been affected psychologically by the game. But Jessica Bones was found guilty, and sentenced to death by electric chair. Her last words were "Read the first letters of the diary to know the truth...those Are my final words.".. She was executed at 8:29 PM in Federal Prison on 06/12/2020.
