Story (Tom's published part)[]
My name is Thomas Miller – you can call me Tom. You have probably heard of the shitty story that I put out online not too long ago that portrayed myself as a coward and an idiot who paid for my horrible actions. Well, that story is mostly fake, made to process how I felt during some series of unfortunate events. However, I think it's high time that I tell you the REAL story, the one that doesn't involve a compact disc labelled "SONIC.EXE" in explicity.
It all started on my 21st birthday. I had received 3 gifts from my best friend (I don't want to say his real name… I'll call him Kyle for my heart's sake) who was also my college roommate: a Windows XP on an AOC CRT (along with a DVD-ROM drive), a GE Classic Sonic plushie, and more importantly, a copy of Sonic Mega Collection Plus! I loved it since I was a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since forever (think plushies, clothes, certain games, even a bookshelf – I have all the stuff one could want), so I hugged and thanked him for the gift before immediately setting it up in our living room.
The was something off about [Kyle](expect this throughout the rest of the story) that made me a little suspicious. He wasn't that much of a Sonic fan, even after I made him play some of my favorite games, but I brushed it off as I thought this gift was his excuse for not getting me anything on my previous birthday. His look however, that was weird; as I set up the monitor on the desk, he just kept staring at me from the side… He had never been like this until right then and there…
Even though I was excited to play the game, [Kyle] and I had summer class the day after, so I left it on the desk as I went to bed. As I fell asleep, I had this weird dream that I don't remember much of except for Sonic, looming over me while blocking his eyes with Metal Sonic's monitors, staring at me for who knows how long. Waking up, I found it weird, but that didn't matter much as I had a full day of boring shit ahead of me, so I saved the Sonic Collection for later.
Once I returned though, I turned on the AOC CRT monitor, opened the Sonic Mega Collection Plus case, grabbed the disc, and popped it right into the DVD-ROM drive for it to download. Once it finished, the file read as "sonic.exe" (sounds familiar, right?), but I didn't really care at the time as I was too excited to play. Unfortunately, to my expectations at the time, there was only one game there, which was pretty disappointing for a MEGA COLLECTION PLUS. It was labelled "Hello. Do you want to play with me?", not in the way I used it in the crappypasta, but I still found it strange and nonchalantly creepy. I reluctantly clicked on the game anyway, as I didn't want this to be something [Kyle](who I believe was outside jogging) bought as a present for nothing, and it appeared to be Sonic 1 from the title screen.
However, when I pressed start, it showed the select screen of Sonic 3 and Knuckles instead of taking me directly to the actual game. You probably know who were in the character select menu (Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnik or Eggman or whatever), but they looked different from what I would expect from Sonic 3&K; Tails looked like his sprite from Sonic 2, Dr. Eggman (I'm using this name since I want to differentiate this story from my crappypasta) looked from Sonic 1, and Knuckles had a completely new look entirely that had a deeper red, wider eyes like Sonic in Sonic 1, and overall looked like a red Sonic with dreads.
I decided to choose Tails anyway, as he was the better option out of the others, and it actually started normally, even though the title glitched a little, as I set off as Tails in Green Hill Zone. Shockingly to you probably, GHZ was actually pretty normal (even the music mind you), except for when I couldn't see a ring even after collecting more than 50 rings, but I assumed that Sonic/Eggman got it or [Kyle] testplayed it and got all the Chaos Emeralds before giving it to me – that didn't explain the monoepilogical game with no name though. I was also confused about why there was no boss battle or Flickies in the capsule Eggman keeps them in – the boss battle could be explained with Eggman being a playable character, but I couldn't understand why there were no animals to save, at that moment…
Marble Zone was next, but the first act was void of anything: rings, Flickies, badniks, nothing. There was only the ground, the lava, the background, the music, and nothing more. Act 2 wasn't any better – the was barely any lava at all, which, while making the levels easier and boring, also weirded me out. The further I played, the weirder and more lifeless it got, until all that was left was me as Tails, the ground, and a plain, boring sky with the same music in Act 3. As I was about to reach the boss area, Tails' name started to glitch too, changing between Tails and… …Alan.
Alan sounded familiar for some reason that I couldn't put my finger on, but I didn't have time to think about that, bceause as I entered the boss fighting area, I was ambushed by a broken, disfigured-pixeled, and agile mess of a sprite – the music wasn't like the normal boss music either as it kept playing the drum sound from the original's first 4 beats over and over again. I tried hitting the damn thing, but it just kept passing through it. At the time, I assumed that this was probably a bug that made whoever the enemy was had not hurtbox, maybe even a creation from the new villain of this game(no it was not…). I kept trying to hit the ugly patch of pixels until I got a Time Over. (damnit) I was annoyed that I had to restart MZ Act 2 and had to experience it all again, but to my surprise, the game actually moved on to Spring Yard Zone. I remembered that I had to eat dinner by that time, so I saved the file before it could show the level and turned off the monitor.
After dinner, I realized I had to do a lot of work, so I spent most of my time reading, writing, trying to solve shit, sleeping, eating, and repeating, but I barely got back to the Sonic "Mega Collection Plus" at first. At the same time that was happening, which was probably a few days, a bunch of stuff in our dorm started to break. It started with small things like the walls being cracked with a cross in the center, but it led up to a chair being broken (among other things I can't list) – it was mundane, but [Kyle] kept getting irritated about it.
I understood why he was feeling this way – I was also getting a little annoyed with it, but I reassured him that we would get someone to fix the wall and told him to buy a chair (he probably got mad at that because he probably spent most of his budget on the birthday gift he bought for me). Once I finished my exhausting school work by then, I was bored as fuck, so I decided to boot up the monitor again. I thought the collection would reset and have its ACTUAL collection of Sonic games, but to my frustration, it showed the exact same thing as last time: the weird Sonic amalgamation with that nonchalant but creepy name.
I clicked on the save file to continue where I left off in Spring Yard, and to my surprise, my chosen character was Knuckles now instead of Tails. Tails was behind him as the usual tag-along he was, but he looked worried about something. I thought maybe it was the weird Time Over or a glitch in the sprites again, but I ignored it then as I played the level, which had the same vibe as Green Hill: pretty normal except for no giant rings, no boss battle, and no Flickies to save. There was also some slight discoloration with the level that made everything except for Tails and Knuckles less saturated (barely noticeable at first).
Then, it was time for LABYRINTH ZONE, and before you all roll your eyes, I did not experience the drowning music that had the DUDUDUDUDUDUDU ass fuckery. It did look a bit more orange than I expected, but I thought that it was just part of the buggy game. Expectingly, LZ was like MZ(void Act 1, voider Act 2, and voidest Act 3), but surprisingly, it didn't remove the water – instead, the color changed into the water texture? Now I was really confused – I didn't think that [Kyle] would get something this weird at a game store or wherever he bought it. I even got concerned that maybe [Kyle] bought me a pirated game instead of the real deal, but then I thought that if it was pirated, the game would've already stopped by now.
Nevertheless, I continued to play throughout the acts anyway. Playing the game felt more and more addictive to me the further I went, which was something considering some of the game's elements were weird as hell. It started in Green Hill, but I only mentioned it here because I started noticing it here as I felt some of my energy draining. I thought, "How could such a short game make me so exhausted?" as it didn't make any remote sense. But just then, as I passed through the boss section (which turned out to be fun when it's not so tedious/full of spikes and fireballs) and reached the end of the level, it surprisingly didn't end - Knuckles' name also glitched, changing from K.T.E. to Dave (who also sounded familiar to me). Instead, I saw him….
Sonic… You all probably expected this; after all, it's called SONIC.EXE for a reason, but it actually looked like normal Sonic (from Sonic 1) at first, with a behavior like Eggman, so I assumed that it was Metal Sonic with a mistexture – he was also high above in an unreachable section, like Knuckles usually did in 3&K, but didn't really do anything except watch Knuckles and Tails from below as they dropped to a section I had never seen. As the top closed, the level's color went dark, as if the lights were getting shut off, and played the same altered boss music from Marble Zone – then, in the center, there were 2 big navy crosses over what appeared to be a giant ball, with 9 overlapping eyes, in the center. Right then (and predictably), I tried really hard to miss the cross and hit the giant ball like a Sonic 3&K boss. However, like the broken pixels from Marble Zone, I couldn't hit the Master Emerald here – I couldn’t even get hurt by the cross's ends as I wasted minutes trying to hit a coded void until I got another Time Over.
I saved my progress as I expected to beat this thing soon, but during the next few weeks, my mind started to race around that thing… my grades there started to fall (which was bad enough as I was in summer classes for a reason) as I mind started to deteriorate over that game… more stuff started to break REALLY badly – I'm talking shit getting shattered such as vases pictures, the dorm rooms (not room; ROOMS) getting vandalized with the same cross from the wall and LZ boss, and more furniture getting destroyed; the only things that weren't touched were the monitor and the desk where it laid.
[Kyle] was getting mad at me too; he blamed me for the deterioration of whatever the fuck was happening to me and the entire dormitory. If it wasn't that bad enough, I connected 2 and 2 together and believed that me playing the glitchy Sonic "Mega Collection Plus" game as the cause of all of this destruction, and even tried to destroy the disc (that somehow was still in the drive after weeks on not taking out), but [Kyle] snatched it out of my hands. He was furious and said that I always keep blaming the shit happening on the game HE bought for ME as a gift, even telling me to "take some responsibility, you ungrateful bastard" – I kept trying to defend myself and telling him that he has to believe me, but he wouldn't budge. He even said, "If the game is the problem, why don’t you finish it so you can stop using it as an excuse?" before putting it on the desktop and storming out of the room to take a breather.
I felt really hurt by those words as [Kyle] was my best friend since childhood, but up till my birthday, he had completely changed to the point where I didn't recognize him anymore. To clear my head of tears, I booted up the computer again, pop the disc back into the DVD-ROM drive, and went back to where I left off in the saved file – I wanted to turn it off, but I convinced myself that I had no choice but to clear finish the game, as this was my escape from both the quarrel and maybe even this nightmare. There, to my surprise, Dr. Eggman was there, along with Tails and Knuckles – this time, Knuckles looked as worried as Tails did in Spring Yard and Labyrinth Zone, while Tails himself looked a little bit more scared. I was like "Did Tails and Knuckles eavesdrop or something?" as I went through Star Light Zone (which you can probably guess was mostly normal, except…), which was now visibly much more saturated than Labyrinth Zone was.
Another thing that shocked me was the fact that Eggman could roll into a maroon ball like the blue blur could. For the first two acts and most of the 3rd one, it was pretty okay, despite feeling addicted and drained again, but the same could not be said for the zone: Scrap Brain Zone. It felt void (the background was fucking gone as all I could see was a black sky), as void as the Act 2s of Marble and Labyrinth Zone, which was weird considering this is supposed to be the first act. What was even weirder was that music from Scrap Brain Zone had a different pitch – most likely C Minor, a chord that I hate. What's even weirder was that there was a sign that appeared a lot in SBZ Act 1 and almost everywhere in SBZ Act 2: "Beware of ╳ (I called it X because that was more convenient to type, but I want to differentiate it from the fuckerypypasta – this symbol is called a Box Drawings Light Diagonal Cross, but you can still read it as X)" in black pixels
I thought ╳ sounded pretty cool, as during that moment, I thought it was like the final boss or something (it was in a way). The red platforms in SBZ Act 1 were stuck in a position that looked half-open-half-closed, but that didn't stop me from finishing it. SBZ Act 2 was a different story – it had the same black background-sky thing as Act 1, and the music kept repeating the first 6 trumpet notes over and over again. It felt incomplete, like someone passed out before finishing the first of everything in this level, and that genuinely creeped me out. It went on for SO long that I forgot I was playing as Eggman with Tails and Knuckles as tag-alongs in the first place, and I think you did too, as you read it, unless you are visualizing it while reading. As I reached the end of the act where the barrier was supposed to be (it wasn't there), Eggman's lives went down from 3 to 1, his name changed from DR. E to Paul, and it didn't glitch – it stayed Paul…
Now this was concerning, as I knew Paul – Paul Hayne, a man who looked youthful for his age and had curly hair… [Kyle]'s dad… He had gone missing for a while before [Kyle]'s attitude changed – I assumed that he died or was kidnapped or something, and didn't even mention anything about it at all until this point. He looked at me, worried, as if he said that yes, he IS Paul Hayne. Just then, the score, time, and ring count display disappeared as Tails and Knuckles' heads-up displays (or whatever you call the picture and name) took their place, before the life count changed from 3 to 1 and the name of Tails and K.T.E to Alan and Dave again, respectively, as they too looked at me in fear… I remembered who they were then: Alan Seeger, my older cousin with dirty blond hair who also went missing a year ago (I had forgotten about him as it had been a long time since I saw him, okay?), and Dave Gray, a guy with tan skin and glasses who was a fellow junior along with me and [Kyle] in college and disappeared much more recently (probably before Paul did).
I was actually terrified, for real this time (considering I DID portray myself as a coward in my crappypasta) – I asked in concern "How… …many of you are trapped there?" as I knew more people who had "coincidentally" disappeared before them… Just as I said that, the entire screen kept blacking out as a familiar figure appeared… you all know who it is… "Sonic"… (the moment you have all been waiting for) Alan, Dave, and Paul look terrified to see it, however… he didn't turn their back on them – his body was toward them, while his head was looking at me… smiling at me… As I was about to process what the fuck was happening, the screen scrolled until it centered "Sonic" – at it did, his eyes exploded, covering the rims of his eyes with blood. The hole where "Sonic"'s eyes use to be were filled it by a black void (which only covered the irises, not the entire eye yet), but he never stopped smiling – he started to laugh in Sonic's voice, but it started to sound more demonic the bigger and wider his smile got, and as his blue quills turned darker, his peach fur became pale, and his shoes went dark gray (in which I doubt the colors I described were even possible on the normal SEGA Genesis), he laughed the loudest that could be possible like a psychopath. Then…
A deafening klaxon played out of nowhere (try imagining that part of the final cutscene in Ristar, where after you defeat Lord Greedy, the room flashes red as a black hole sucks him, Uranim, and Inonis – that's what I think the siren sounds like) as the level glitches back to Scrap Brain Act 1. Overlaying it was the words "IT'S PLAY TIME" as I saw a countdown from 10 - 10, 9, 8, 7, 6…
An arrow directed towards the left, but I only realized it by the time it got bigger and the timer went down that I needed to make the RUN… FAST… With no hesitation after that, I hard pressed the left key to make Alan, Dave, and Paul run as fast as this game, and I, could possibly make them. I felt panicky as the countdown kept going – 5… 4… 3… 2… 1….
"What will happen to them when the countdown reaches 0?" I thought to myself as I itched in despair. It didn't technically reach 0 – after 1, this message appeared: ╳ IS ON THE LOOSE
The screen glitched again, this time showing Star Light Zone – however, everything (except for Alan, Dave, and Paul) was all gray, as I saw to the right was it… ╳… the same Sonic skinwalker--dark blue quills, bone-gray fur, dark gray shoes and all, but this time also with yellow teeth—was running towards us faster than that normal Sonic would. In the middle of his eyes, I notice something that seemed invisible: 2 very dark red pixels that blended in with the black void (not the red eyes you were thinking of, huh?). It was gaining on them faster than I expected, and then… ╳ got Alan... he screamed in agony, but it wasn't like a screech in Tails' voice… It sounded like Alan – his voice… they really are trapped here, and it was going to kill them…
As Alan screamed, the screen glitched again, showing Labyrinth Zone, which again was all desaturated and grayed out. ╳ laughed with that demonic voice in ecstasy as Dave now looked as frightened as Alan – he was next… That thing seemed to disappear off-screen after it killed Alan, as if it purposefully slowed itself down to give Dave and Paul a false feeling of hope. This time, ╳ was flying (as expected from you) like he was halfway between regular and Super Sonic, and… …Dave was caught too – I also heard Dave's voice when he screamed. As that happened, I noticed many things: #1: the HUD of Dave vanished while Alan's was already absent, leaving Paul's alone; #2: Dr. Eggman's head looked directly in front of me in worry – Paul was terrified as he both knew that he was the last of the prey to be hunted down; and #3: the screen glitched again, showing Spring Yard Zone that was yet again desaturated. ╳ was trailing far behind, and I heard his laugh get louder and louder the closer and closer he got.
As I cried and apologized to Paul for what I had done to get him, Alan, and Dave tortured by that beast, I saw a large gap ahead, so I instinctively pressed the jump key - ╳ fell through, seemingly dead and defeated as the screen glitched to become Marble Zone, which had its original colors this time, and the klaxon music stopped. I was relieved at first as I thought the threat, that Sonic skinwalker, was gone. So did Paul, and his expression turned back into the usual Eggman sprite. However, that's when I heard his voice again: "You cannot kill me, Tom… I see you right there." That's when I looked at the Sonic plushie – it was his camera for the real world. Out of fear and anger, I grabbed the stupid plush and threw it out of the window. Finally, he was gone…
…is what I thought after throwing the thing – but, then I heard the klaxon noise again. I also saw the color vanish right there and then - It was coming to kill its prey no matter what, so I made Paul run again for both of our sakes. It kept laughing, but we didn't know where the fuck that thing was – I was starting to get frustrated even more as I was scared that ╳ could come out of nowhere (like that section of the fuckerpasta). Just then, I saw it behind Paul – he was getting closer at a faster rate than with Alan and Dave. Just then, I saw the 6 Chaos Emeralds appear around him. I didn't know what was so special about that, considering Sonic needs 7 emeralds to become Super. It turned out that I was wrong, as when the Chaos Emeralds centered on ╳, his left arm and face completely broke as lines of grays, reds, blues, and more sprang out from the deformity towards the edge of the screen as the screen glitched again.
The zone was Green Hill, but there was nothing green about it. There were black veins everywhere I kept making Paul run to the left… …somewhere (I was doing it mindlessly at the time, so I had no idea where I was taking him). Just then, right behind me was something that I could truly never forget… (like genuinely – this is not a joke) ╳ was obviously behind us, but it looked more deformed and ugly– its arms, legs, & body were longer(making him looking twice Sonic's height), the lower half of all of the limbs up to the hands and feet turned black as coal, the quills on its head were longer, his demonic laugh sounded deeper than a bellow, and there was what appeared to be a giant purple cross on his now black-hole-like belly (as if the cross was holding the black hole together). I don't know how to express my emotion here without repeating myself AGAIN, but this scarred me. Just as I was about to lose hope as ╳ was about to catch up to Paul, I saw a giant ring (it was silver instead of gold though) and made him jump into it. I saved the file and turned off the game – I don't care what happened as long as I made it out of that hellhole – I hope Paul is okay in there… Hopefully Alan and Dave escaped too…
As I rested on the bed in relief, I remembered [Kyle] was not here. I didn't want to think of the situation that separated us, so I went onto the creepypasta website and wrote the story in a way that could help me cope with the experience – I made myself an easily-scared buffoon because I still hated myself for instigating these events in the first place, [Kyle] as an absent person because that's what he basically was right then, purposefully not used his names of Alan, Dave, and Paul as I didn't want to think of them as the ones suffering under ╳, and based most of these "scary" environments based on old horror films I had recently watched. I had a good laugh reading it, so it worked, and waited until [Kyle] returned, hopefully for the better.
Unfortunately, it has been weeks since I last saw him. It's not like I didn't try to find him, but no matter where I looked, no matter who I asked, and no matter how much I tried to think of where he would be, [Kyle] is still missing to this day. I feel… ...regretful of everything. I should never have played his game; otherwise, maybe this dorm wouldn't be broken. Maybe I wouldn't feel so scared now. Maybe…
…Kyle and I would still be friends…
Why am I sharing the real story NOW? Well, I already said the reason. I feel regretful of this whole tomfuckery, so I am dumping all of my memories here and letting it all out. There is still some hope in me that he'll come back from wherever he is right now. I miss him… And if he sees this, I want to let him know…

Epilogue (the true ending, or a new beginning...)[]
After Tom published the real story, he felt a lot better, but was still upset as he couldn't let go of the past. Most nights, he couldn't sleep at all, because all he wanted was his best friend to return to him – maybe even forgive him for his actions. One day, after leaving Mrs. Petica's (his college professor for summer classes) classroom, he walked back to his dormitory, only to find [Kyle] looking worried and asking where Thomas Miller was. Tom ran to him and hugged him, while [Kyle] stood there, acknowledging the response, saying, "Found you." Tom asked [Kyle] about where he had been for the last weeks, and he said that he had to run away for a while until it seemed like things simmered down.
Tom apologized for what happened during that time with the Sonic "Mega Collection Plus" as they walked to their dorm room – [Kyle] said it was okay, and asked him if he finished the game. Tom said he didn't, so [Kyle] offered to watch him clear the game, to which he said yes reluctantly. Returning to the desk, opening the monitor, and starting the game, Tom was surprised that [Kyle] didn't ask about what happened to the Sonic plushie that was supposedly thrown up without him knowing. Opening the save file, Tom saw a new title card reading "…" with the bottom letters reading as X. There, he saw Paul, who looked troubled, in a zone that had a black background and a dark gray floor that looked similar to the chamber walls from the Last Fight in Ecco the Dolphin.
Tom felt creeped out, and [Kyle] standing in silence without saying anything didn't make it better for him. Just then, he saw the 7th Chaos Emerald, which moved towards the right, so Tom made Paul follow it. However, the emerald kept moving faster than Paul could run, until it vanished off-screen. Suddenly, the broken pixels from Marble Zone appeared – Tom was confused as to why it was in that dark realm with Paul, until he spoke. He said, "Do not trust the person next to you. He made me play this game to tr..." in [Kyle]'s voice, before Kyle's broken sprite body turned black and vanished while screaming. Then, "[Kyle]", who was next to Tom, said "So many souls to play with. So little time. Wouldn't you agree?"
It all clicked to Tom; [Kyle] had played the game along with his father, Paul, and ╳ had taken them both – using [Kyle]'s body, it brought the monitor, the Sonic plush, and the disc to give his realm as a gift to Tom. It knew that Tom would figure it out eventually, so he used the plush that matched his idol's likeness to deceive him, while he watched through the window behind him. ╳ had possessed his body and tried to be [Kyle], which explained why he seemed to be a different person – he was… ╳ planted everything and broke the world around him.
Tom was horrified and furious that his best friend and other people had been vesseled into ╳'s world and deceived by the capture disguised as a dear ally. Then, ╳, in [Kyle]'s body, said "Try to keep this interesting for me, Tom." before putting his face up to the screen and screaming until he collapsed. Before he screamed, ╳ appeared on screen (in the same body from the chase in GHZ, now standing up, which showed more of the purple cross on his belly) with the 7 Chaos Emeralds hovering over it, and during [Kyle]'s scream, ╳ watched excitedly as it removed the life from [Kyle]'s body, killing him for good. After that, ╳ absorbed all of the Chaos Emeralds, which turned his dark blue quills red and his face's fur into many pixels in tones and shades of grayish-green (like the TV screens in Vectorman that show an animation of WarHead) – it was ╳'s very own Super form. Paul was terrified, but he didn't stand a chance or have a choice as ╳ killed him by turning its cross into tentacles on the glitching screen until it went black.
As expected, Paul let out a scream of agony, and it was nothing like his character. Tom wanted to destroy the damn disc even if it cost his life, so he tried to get the CD out of the DVD-ROM drive, but it wouldn't open no matter what he did. Then, the screen showed ╳uper with the Super Emeralds orbiting him as he chanted these 7 words: Kirai, Kofuku, Kito, Yokubo, Aishu, Kyoufu, Gekido
While ╳uper chanted, Tom saw the navy crosses around it – he had realized it, but it was too late. ╳uper turned titanium white with darker colored veins, its arms turned red with lighter tones veins, its face turned into a red circle with what looked like black annuli in the center, the cross on its chest grew to an extreme prominence(with the colors of the eyes in the giant ball matching with the layers going inside), and grew twice as tall as its Super form.
╳ had reached his own Hyper form: ╳yper. Once the transformation was finished, all that was left on the screen was a constantly moving background of pixels the same color as his Super form's face, as ╳yper just stood there, staring at Tom while acting like Sonic. He said:
"You're a lot of fun to play with, kid, just like your friend [Kyle](only ╳ and the other people in this universe know his real name), though he didn't last long. Won't be long now until you join him and all my other friends…"
Tom was scared for his life and tried to back away from him, but before he did anything, ╳yper said "You can't run kid. You're in my world now. Just like the others… Remember…
I AM GOD!"

During the aftermath of Tom's death, ╳ (now having Tom as his new in-real-life form and puppet) admired his victim's hide and looked at the monitor screen, saying "You're too slow. Want to try again? (chuckles) Ready for Round 2, Tom? (silence) Oh right. You are getting used to your permanent home. I hope you have fun with me, Tom. With me, it will never end." Before putting the disc, his world, back in its case, getting and cleaning the Sonic plushie, and grabbing them and the monitor before leaving without a trace, never to be seen again…

I was scrolling through DeviantArt, when I saw a redesign of the original X by loliudsl2. It looked SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool, that I thought I could redesign his story too. Obviously, no one would talk about OG/JC X due to his former owner Jack Cranely, that stupid groomer. I liked how cool it looked, but everything else about the OG X sucked, including this story. I apologize if this story offends ANYONE reading this. This page is purely for entertainment purposes since I had nothing else to do. It's not the perfect version of Sonic.EXE or his story, but I think I improved it in some way, refreshing it after 14 years (fun fact, that's the year I was born in).
This's story is based off of many things: the original story of Sonic.EXE by "that person (fuck you, pedophile), this image here, other sources about OG X, and Alan and Dave's names were based on JoeDoughBoi's version of Sonic.EXE(aka Lord X and his younger self, 2011X) since he and Cranebrain both used the name Paul. Again, this page is not made to glaze "that guy", actually, it's the opposite reason. I made this page, not only out of boredom, but also to mock him for his unforgivable crimes, considering that it was suck-ass, hard to read without feeling meh, and I believed that ANYONE could make this better and scarier than he did, so I took my own challenge, and I think I did it really well.

What ╳ looks like in game in case anyone want to use this in a Sonic.EXE game
This is the true Sonic.EXE, not the same repetitive theme made by JC and JoeDoughBoi - this is what actually happened (in my opinion). It's a direct remaster of the original ╳/Sonic.EXE from the creepypasta website, and I am fucking proud of this - it's so cool. I used ╳ and not X because this symbol is better. The names of Alan, Dave, Paul, and Tom are inspired by obscure poets that I had to google. I made the art myself, except for the normal Sonic and Chaos & Super Emerald sprites. I hope this one was much better to read. I sure had fun making this :)
